This is a submission/reading fee for those who wish to submit to the journal who do not have a subscription.

The submission fee means you may enter work during our submission window subject to the guidelines laid out on our website.

As of December 2025 - The Jawbone Journal exists because of our subscribers and the work of our staff who volunteer their time to create the Journal. There is currently NO contributor copy or payment for those whose work is accepted into the magazine. Please consider a subscription or donation so that we can continue creating and developing this platform for creatives. By keeping the cover and submission price low we are trying to make our Journal accessible to as wide a demographic as possible. Thank you for your support.
